BOOK REVIEW: How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie

This book is rather old but the practical wisdom in it will never get obsolete. This book does not teach you how to be politically correct rather it promotes the virtue of diplomacy.

I first got my hand on this book from an online book exchange club. I was scouring thousands of books listed on the site, from the unknown to the most popular, and then the book title caught my eye, uhmm... both my eyes. I thought to myself that I needed this book badly as I don't recall lots of people calling up my house asking me for help or even bugging me. So I hurriedly contacted the owner to ask if I can mooch her book. Luckily, she said yes, as she was from another country. She would have to shell out a couple of bucks just to send me the book.

"How to Win Friends and Influence People" is a gem! There were lots of insights that I've never realized about human behavior. I have picked up tons of lesson from every single page. I can't really list all of them here, though. Because I want you my dear reader to discover it for yourselves.

This is my second favorite book next to Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell. Highly recommended!

I'm just a regular blogger. Nothing really interesting about me. Or else, I might not be here blogging, I might be on TV right now. A superstar. But life is not always fair, and I often get a fair share of life's mistreatments. Well anyway, feel free to comment or maybe you may want to send me a gift. That'll be tad cool!
